Shared Accommodation
This program is available in Launceston
St Michaels has several group homes which accommodate adults with intellectual disabilities. Two of these are located in the community, and one is located on the Newstead Campus.
Each group home have rostered support staff who provide assistance overnight and on the weekends for residents. Residents would normally be involved in activities during weekdays when the houses are unstaffed.

There are no fees associated with this program

You are welcome to arrange a time to visit St Michaels. This will give you the opportunity to see the facilities for yourself, meet some of the staff, and talk with some fo the clients who attend our services.
